ACLS (With Optional Add-on for BLS)

American Heart Association

ACLS / BLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support / Basic Life Support) combo for the professional rescuer is designed for individuals in healthcare, dental offices or other professional rescuer fields. This advanced course starts with the basics of CPR for healthcare professionals then moves on to highlight the importance of high-performance team dynamics and communication, systems of care, recognition and intervention of cardiopulmonary arrest, immediate post-cardiac arrest, acute dysrhythmia, stroke, and acute coronary syndromes (ACS). This meets the standards of the emergency medicine board in Nebraska for those requiring a professional level BLS and ACLS training with the most current 2020 guidelines.

Note: Each course, ACLS and BLS, are independently complete and meet all requirements for each individual certification.

BLS (For Healthcare Providers)

American Heart Association

The BLS Healthcare Provider Course is designed to provide a wide variety of healthcare professionals the ability to recognize life-threatening emergencies, provide CPR, use an AED, and relieve choking in a safe, timely and effective manner. This hands-on course teaches the latest CPR techniques using the American Heart Association’s® 2020 guidelines for adults, children and infants. Our experienced instructors will discuss and review scenarios for emergency response and CPR both in-hospital and out-of-hospital settings.

Intended audience for this class includes: providers such as physicians, nurses, paramedics, emergency medical technicians, respiratory therapists, physical and occupational therapists, physician’s assistants, medical or nursing students in training, medical or nursing assistants, police officers, and other allied health personnel.

CPR / AED & Basic First Aid

American Heart Association / American Safety and Health Institute

Combined adult CPR, AED, and first aid training program. This is our most popular course and meets the needs of everyone wanting to have basic emergency response skills! This extremely flexible program will help employers meet OSHA and other federal and state regulatory requirements for training employees how to respond and care for medical emergencies at work, it is also ideal for individuals and parents, babysitters, child care providers, and corporate emergency response or safety teams. The program is based upon the 2010 International Consensus on Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC) and includes information on choking, heart attack, stroke, allergic reactions (including epi-pens), bleeding, head injuries and much more!

CCRN Review Course

This CCRN Review Course consists of online review courses and a 2 day live session (9am-3pm each day) with interactive online chat forum.

The online modules will be sent out 1 month previous to the live review sessions for students to begin reviewing the course content. These modules cover all of the fundamental topics on the Adult CCRN Exam as outlined by the American Association of Critical Care Nurses. They can be stopped and started at your leisure and are accessible for 3 months after the live review session.

Course Topics include Endocrine, Neurologic Assessment, Cardiovascular Disease, Pulmonary, and Renal Disease. A complete course curriculum and topic descriptions can be found on the course curriculum page.

The learner will have unlimited access to program videos and practice exams during the subscription period.

American Heart Association

Earn this valuable American Heart Association® certification while exploring the most recent advances in pediatric resuscitation science. Our AHA-trained instructors teach students how to improve the quality of care for pediatric victims of cardiac arrest, and other cardiopulmonary and respiratory emergencies. Students enhance their skills in the treatment of arrest and peri-arrest patients through active participation in a series of simulated cardiac and respiratory cases.

Skills Sign Off (For BLS, ACLS, and PALS)

Scheduled time to complete skills checks for BLS, ACLS, and PALS. This course is for those individuals that have already completed PART ONE of one or more of the above listed classes through The American Heart Association.

You must bring your PART ONE Heartcode COMPLETION CERTIFICATE to participate in this class!

Neonatal Resuscitation Program

The Neonatal Resuscitation Program® (NRP®) course conveys an evidence-based approach to care of the newborn at birth and facilitates e​ffective team-based care for healthcare professionals who care for newborns at the time of delivery. NRP utilizes a blended learning approach, which includes online testing, online case-based simulations, and hands-on case-based simulation/debriefing that focus on critical leadership, communication, and team-work skills.
